It goes without saying that we screen all our babysitters before you can book them.


 


Selection method


Our selection procedure consists of 3 steps:


We look at whether the babysitters meet the Nanny Nina profile: reliable, fun and responsible babysitters who genuinely enjoy engaging children in activities!

Step 1. Profile-check


First, we look at whether the babysitter candidates meet our basic criteria. We pay attention to experience, education, certifications and age.




Step 2. Online and social media check


We review the Facebook, Instagram and Linked-in profiles of the candidates. We also do a thorough Google search. This gives us extra insight and helps determine whether the candidate complies with what we expect from our babysitters.




Step 3. Reference check and interview


We check the candidates' references from other parents. This is one of the most important checks for us. We also interview the babysitters that apply to work during the daytime to see if he or she can respond adequately in common situations during babysitting.




VOG | Declaration of behavior


Not all babysitters already have a VOG. We can request a declaration of behavior at the Dutch government for 40 euros.
