My name is Shirlene, I was born in Brazil therefore I'm a Portuguese native speaker, but I have advanced English and an intermediate Spanish. I lived in Ireland for 3 years, mostly to improve my English but also to learn about different cultures.
I'm passionate about life and people in general, so when I was thinking about moving to another country I knew I wanted to work as Nanny. I'm a energetic and friendly. I have a calm attitude and a track record of providing a quality childcare service to their children.
In Ireland i worked with two families looking after children between 17 months and 7 years old, my main duties were to entertain them, help them with their homework, coordinate different activities, resolve any issues and introduce new methods of learning.
Not only this experience changed my personal life but also my professional life developing creative skills and multitask capability, learning how to deal with different personalities and keep calm even in difficult situations
The most fun part is being able to follow growth and development, and every day you learn new things with children, no day is a routine, because every day we have something different to do, play and learn. working as an Nany nis light is having fun every day.

I have known Shirlene since September 2020 when she started to take care of my two boys – aged 18 months and 6 years. In that time Shirlene built up a wonderful relationship with the children and proved herself to be a very competent, caring, fun child minder. She always put the children first and they loved being with her. She prepared food for them, played with them, took them for walks in addition to caring for them. Shirlene was a great help to me around the house also and she always left the house in pristine condition. When Shirlene told us she was moving to Holland, we were very sad to have to say goodbye.
